Dr. Steven G. Sclamberg, M.D., is an experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, particularly shoulder and knee arthroscopy. A graduate of Northwestern University School of Medicine, he completed his residency and a sports medicine fellowship at USC. With over 20 years of experience, he provides exceptional care to athletes and patients with complex conditions.
Dr. Sclamberg serves as a senior attending surgeon at St. Francis Hospital of Evanston and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, as well as Section Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at several institutions. He mentors residents at Northwestern and the University of Chicago.
His research on Achilles tendon repair and rotator cuff surgery has been presented nationally and published widely. He has also been the team physician for Niles North Athletics and Skokie School District 219 since 2005. Board-certified and active in professional societies, Dr. Sclamberg is known for his expertise and compassionate care.
